For the world to see your idea?

Here are a few places you may want to check out:
- Local newspaper
- Nearest radio station
- Closest tv station
Scared?
Don’t be! Most news outlets are happy to help out beginners. Especially if those beginners are hopeful kidpreneurs. Check with your parent or guardian and then call or stop by one of these places. You’ll be surprised what they may be able to help you with.
Tips for approaching news outlets:
- Do your research-check out all of your options and make a list of potential places that are nearby.
- Decide what you need help with-are you asking that the tv station play your commercial, or a newpaper do an article on your campaign? Try to figure out what you may need help with and write it down.
- Write a speech-write up a small speech including who you are, what your business is, how it helps others and how the news outlet may be able to help. Keep it short and sweet.
- Practice-It’s important to take the time to review what you wrote. You will want to sound and be confident when meeting with a news outlet, so practice with friends, family, or even in front of the mirror until you have your speech down pat!
